This Privacy Policy explains how ThaiThai ("ThaiThai", "we", "us", or "our")
collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the
ThaiThai mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the
practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this
policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information: When you sign in (including via
Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple), we collect your username, password,
email address, and profile information.
Profile Media: Photos or videos you choose from your
device's photo library — or videos you record with the camera and
microphone — to set a profile picture or to upload content within the
App.
User Content: Interactions such as likes, comments,
follows, and content you engage with.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device model, operating system
version, unique device identifiers, and language settings.
Usage Data: Videos watched, time spent, features used,
and interaction patterns.
Log Data: IP address, access times, and app activity.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
Google Sign-In: If you log in with Google, we receive
your basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) as authorized
by you.
Sign in with Apple: If you log in with Apple, we receive
the information you authorize Apple to share (your name and email, or an
Apple-provided private relay email if you choose to hide your address).
Video & Analytics SDK (BytePlus / ByteDance): Our
video playback technology may collect device identifiers and performance
analytics solely to deliver and improve video streaming. This data is used
only for these purposes. We do not use it for advertising, we do not link
it with third-party data to track you across other apps or websites, and we
do not share it with data brokers. The App does not access the device
advertising identifier (IDFA).
1.4 Device Permissions
The App requests only the permissions it needs to function:
Photo Library: to let you select a profile picture or
videos to upload.
Camera and Microphone: to let you record a video with
audio when you choose to create and upload content. These are accessed
only while you are actively recording in the App; the App does not record
in the background. The App does not access your calendar or location.

3. Shopping and E-Commerce
ThaiThai includes an integrated shopping experience delivered through a
secure in-app web interface. When you browse or purchase products:
Your authentication session may be shared securely to provide a seamless
experience.
Purchase-related data is processed to fulfill your orders.
Payment processing, where applicable, is handled by our e-commerce
platform and payment partners.
4. Fortune AI and AI-Assisted Features
ThaiThai includes "Fortune AI", an optional feature that generates
personalized readings. Before you use Fortune AI, we ask for your explicit
consent.
To generate readings, the information you provide — your name, birth
date, birth time, and birth place — is sent to OpenAI, a
third-party AI provider (using the GPT-4o mini model), which processes it
on our behalf to produce the reading. We share only the information needed
for this purpose. OpenAI processes the data under its own data-protection
and security commitments and does not use it to train its models.
Fortune AI readings are provided for entertainment purposes only and do
not constitute professional advice.
We obtain your explicit consent in the app before any of this data is
sent. You may decline at the consent prompt and choose not to use the
feature, and you can request deletion of your data at any time by deleting
your account.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share
information:
With service providers who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics,
authentication)
With OpenAI, to process Fortune AI requests as described in the Fortune
AI section above
With third-party SDKs as described above (Google, Apple, BytePlus)
For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and
security
In business transfers, such as a merger or acquisition
6. Data Storage and Security
Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted
storage.
Data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using
industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
While we use commercially reasonable safeguards, no method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Third parties may not have the same security protections, and we are not
responsible for protecting the security of such information.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide
our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a
longer retention period is required by law. When you delete your account, we
delete or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is
required by law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Delete your account directly in the App: go to
Profile → menu (⋮) → Delete account. This permanently
deletes your account and associated data.
Sign out of your account at any time.
Revoke Google Sign-In access via your Google Account settings, or revoke
Sign in with Apple via Settings → your name → Sign in with
Apple on your Apple device.
Uninstall the App to stop further data collection.
Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time,
either through the in-app Delete account option described
above, or by emailing

with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
9. Children's Privacy
ThaiThai is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child
has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps
to delete it.
10. International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your
own. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to
these locations.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (including
within the shopping experience). We are not responsible for the privacy
practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy
policies.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted
on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App
after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
